From the Pastor’s Desk- June 4, 2017

I enjoy asking students and teachers, “How many days are left until school is out?” I don’t think I ever asked a teacher who could not give me the exact number. The teachers know how many days the students have to go to school and how many days teachers have to work.

Students will usually respond, “We have about three weeks to go.” High school and college seniors give more precise figures. A sense of relief appears on the faces of students and faculty when another year is over.

Are we counting down the days of our lives on earth like we do school? The average American’s life span is 81.2 years for females and 76.4 years for males (CDC). There’s no guarantee we will reach those ages. Break your years down by days. Are you investing your days in Kingdom work?
