– Online

As a convenience to our members and contributors we offer online giving. We know that many people now pay bills and manage their finances online and we are offering this to our members who would like to participate.

How to Contribute Online:
To make a contribution you will need to use a debit or credit card.
On this page you will see buttons where you can donate to either the general fund or capital stewardship. Click on the appropriate button for the type of contribution you would like to make. Our online contributions are processed through PayPal and you will be taken to a PayPal page when you click one of the buttons.

  • Enter the contribution amount and select Update Total.
  • If you have a PayPal account login. Follow the directions to process the donation.
  • If you do not have a PayPal account click the Continue link where it says “Don’t have a PayPal account?” Follow the directions to process the donation and you will be given an opportunity to create an account upon completing your transaction.

In order to process online payments we had to choose a merchant services provider. We researched several options and chose to use PayPal. PayPal offers a non-profit rate that we felt best met our needs. You do not have to have a PayPal account to make a contribution but you can set one up if you
like. Setting up an account will make it easier to make donations in the future as you will not have to re-enter information each time.

For General Fund Tithes & Offerings click the button below.

For Capital Stewardship Donations click the button below.

PayPal does charge fees for processing transactions, as do all other providers of this service. We feel the rate that PayPal offers for non-profits was the most economical to meet our needs. The rate is 2.2% + $0.30 for each transaction, a $100 donation would have a fee of $2.50. When you make a contribution online, your tithing record will be credited for the full amount of the donation, not the donation amount less fees. Fees will be charged as an operating expense for the church.

PayPal is a leading provider of merchant services and takes steps to ensure the security of your information. You can learn more about the security policies of PayPal by visiting their website. Your debit/credit card information will not come to the Church. If you have any questions contact the church office at (706) 234-1841

PAYPAL*PLEASANTVAL will appear on your credit/debit card statement for this transaction.
