When life changes…God is still good!
August and September were months filled with birthdays for PVS kids. One of our sweet young boys celebrated his 4th birthday, while one of our lovely young ladies celebrated her 11th- with many other PVS kids celebrating in between! Fact: as much as I hate to admit it, our children are growing up! How does this affect the children’s ministry at PVS and you as a parent or grandparent? Oh, in so many ways! We bear witness to their physical growth…height, weight, etc., but are we also seeing spiritual growth?
I see PVS kids as a powerful ministry to teach God’s truth to our children. They need to know who He is, who they are in comparison to Him, and how to live as His followers. We offer a safe environment where children can gain a clearer understanding of how and why God matters to them and also how and why they matter to God. Please let me encourage you to take advantage of all that we have to offer through the children’s ministry at PVS Kids. Each Sunday morning, leaders are prepared to share The Gospel Project with your children. Every Wednesday night, children are diligently memorizing God’s Word. On Sunday evenings, the children can be heard singing songs that remind them just how much Jesus loves them. These are all wonderful tools available to promote spiritual growth in our children. I hope you’ll use them all.
