Volunteers are needed for our upcoming local missions project we are calling ‘Our Jerusalem Missions’ based on Acts 1:8. This will be an outreach ministry to senior adults, widows and widowers, and others in our area who need assistance with projects around their homes such as painting, general maintenance and clean-up. Our fellow PVS church members will be our first priority, followed by others in our community and beyond. The dates for ‘Our Jerusalem Missions’ are September 30 to October 3. Volunteers will be divided into teams according to their skills, abilities and interests. Each day will begin with a breakfast at the church at 8:30 am. and conclude with a fellowship dinner and devotion at 5:30 p.m. following the day’s projects. Volunteers are also needed in meal preparation. Sign up in the Welcome Center or the FLC for this exciting week of outreach and service in Our Jerusalem.
