Ukraine 2019 was another huge success for the kingdom of God. In Krasnograd, we have the privilege of sharing Christ through medical and vision clinics in three villages where there was no Christian witness and one where we had ministered in 2018. On our last day, we conducted a half-day clinic on the Krasnograd Church property. Vitaliy reported that there were many people in each location who prayed a prayer of repentance and accepted Christ in response to his presentation of the Gospel. We then traveled to Kharkiv and conducted clinics on the recently purchased Christmas Church property. People who live in the surrounding community came to check out their new neighbors. Admittedly suspicious in the beginning, not knowing what to expect from “The Baptists”, they were impressed by the friendliness and generosity of all, Ukrainian and Americans alike. Many seeds were planted which will be cultivated by the Christmas Church family in the months ahead. We were thankful for the opportunity to join our Ukrainian mission partners in introducing many people to Christ. We are confident the Lord will use our joint efforts in this year’s campaign to draw many people to Himself. Please be in prayer for the Christmas Church family as they let their “light shine before others, that they may see (their) good deeds and glorify (their) Father in heaven”. Matthew 5:16 NIV.
